Marking a milestone in healthcare innovation through partnership with Mindray

Kuala Lumpur, 16 October 2025 — Premier Integrated Labs today introduced Malaysia’s first AI-assisted, fully automated hematology system in private practice, the CAL 8000 by Mindray, marking an important step forward in diagnostic innovation.

The launch, themed Pioneering Progress Together: Advancing Partnership and Innovation,” was officiated by, YB Dato Lukanisman Bin Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia. He was joined by Dr Kamal Amzan, Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, Hareeff Muhammed, Chief Executive Officer of Premier Integrated Labs, and Mindray’s regional leadership team.

Premier Integrated Labs, under IHH Laboratories and part of IHH Healthcare Malaysia, is one of the country’s leading medical diagnostic providers.

The installation of Mindray’s CAL 8000 system strengthens Premier Integrated Labs’ capabilities by integrating intelligent sample management, automated hematology, and data connectivity solutions. The system streamlines workflow, improves efficiency, and enhances diagnostic precision, reinforcing Premier Integrated Labs’s focus on innovation and clinical quality through collaboration.

By combining automation and AI, the CAL 8000 enables faster turnaround times and greater diagnostic accuracy. This allows laboratory scientists and pathologists to devote more time to data interpretation and patient care, ultimately improving clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.
