IHH Healthcare Malaysia has been recognised by Newsweek in its Asia’s Top Private Hospitals and Clinics 2026 rankings, with 11 of its 18 hospitals in the country acknowledged for excellence in specialised medical procedures.
This recognition places IHH Healthcare Malaysia among the region’s leading private healthcare providers for specialist-driven care.
Hospitals including Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Gleneagles Hospital Penang, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Pantai Hospital Cheras, and Prince Court Medical Centre were recognised for strong performance across selected specialised procedures, particularly in orthopaedics and ophthalmology, reflecting the depth of clinical expertise and consistently good outcomes delivered by experienced multidisciplinary teams at these facilities.
Several hospitals also received expanded recognition this year. Gleneagles Hospital Penang, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, and Pantai Hospital Cheras were acknowledged across additional procedures such as knee surgery and knee replacement, shoulder surgery, refractive eye surgery, and cataract surgery. This broader recognition signals growing capability in managing more complex and higher-volume specialised procedures within IHH Healthcare Malaysia.
For patients, the continued strengthening of specialist services means greater access to experienced clinicians, more coordinated care for complex conditions, and the reassurance of being treated within a system that prioritises safety, consistency, and clinical quality.
