Behind every patient’s recovery is not just a doctor, but a team – rehab specialists, nutritionists, pharmacists, mental health professionals, and many more. Together, they form the backbone of allied health, transforming treatment into lasting recovery.
It’s this spirit of collaboration that drives the Allied Health Scientific Conference 2025 (9-10 September), organised by the Association of Allied Health Sciences Division Personnel in collaboration with the Ministry Of Health, Malaysia (KKM) Allied Health Sciences Division.
This year’s theme, Innovate, Integrate, Inspire: Sustainable Healthcare Through Allied Health, brings experts and professionals together to explore how allied health strengthens patient care and builds sustainable healthcare for communities.
The Health Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad officiated the event this morning. In a plenary session, Kamal Amzan, Dr highlighted how doctors remain central to patient care, but outcomes are stronger when allied health expertise is fully integrated – ensuring more holistic care for patients.
As the conference strategic partner, IHH HEALTHCARE MALAYSIA values the work of our allied health colleagues and proudly supports this platform that shines a light on their vital role in shaping the future of healthcare.
