2014

In January, Acibadem opened, Acibadem Atankent Hospital. With 60,000 square metres of closed space, 328 beds, 10 operating theaters, 47 intensve care beds and 77 examination rooms/physician suites. It is their largest hospital to-date.

2013

GHK Hospital Ltd awarded the Wong Chuk Hang private hospital site in Hong Kong

2012

IHH acquired indirect 60% majority stake in Acibadem Holding, which also includes Acibadem Proje and Aplus

IHH launched global offering & first concurrent IPO in Malaysia & Singapore

IHH debuted on Main Market, Bursa Malaysia & Main Board, SGX-ST, closing 10% up on both exchanges

2001-2010

2002 -Parkway entered a JV with Brunei Investment Agency to own & operate the Gleneagles JPMC Cardiac Centre, Brunei Darussalam

2003-Parkway's Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, India, became operational

2004-Parkway's 31% direct equity swap in Pantai formed a 40:60 Join venture company (JV Co) with Khazanah called Pantai Irama Venture

-Pantai delisted from Bursa upon completion of Mandatory Offer (MO) by Pantai Irama Ventures

2007-Parkway's 3 hospitals entered lease & leaseback agreements under Plife REIT, listed on SGX-ST's Main Board since August

-(Today, Parkway Trust Management, manager of PLife REIT, is wholly-owned by IHH)

2008-Parkway successfully bid for land in Singapore to build its greenfield project, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, which opened in July 2012

2010-IHH made voluntary General Offer (GO) for Parkway shares and delisted Parkway from SGX's Main Board, holding 100% equity interest in Parkway & Pantai Irama Ventures

-IMU Health became a wholly-owned subsidiary

-Khazanah transferred 60% equity interest in Pantai Irama ventures & 23.8% interest in Parkway to IHH

1974-2000

1974 -Pantai built its first hospital, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

1987 -Parkway entered the healthcare business when it acquired Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore

1989 -Parkway entered the Malaysia Healthcare business with an acquisition of 70% equity interest in Pulau Pinang Clinic, later renamed Gleneagles Penang

1990 -Pantai debuted on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE), Malaysia

1991 -Acibadem commenced operations with Acibadem Kadikoy Hospital, Istanbul

1992 -International Medical College was founded in Malaysia partnering 5 foreign medical universities in relation to its medical programme

1999 -International Medical College granted University status, becoming the International Medical University (IMU), launching its own MBBS programme

2000 -Acibadem listed on the ISE becoming the first and only healthcare provider to be listed in Turkey
