When it comes to battling COVID-19, it’s all hands on deck at Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh (PHAK). To ensure our fighters on the front line are never short of protective gear, some 20 to 30 PHAK staff from various clinical and non-clinical departments gather every day since beginning of April to make Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and face shields for them – just so our frontliners can focus on taking care of our patients and keeping the virus at bay. Their first target to produce 6,000 PPEs and 6,000 face shields is expected to be completed within 3 months and 2 weeks respectively.
