In 2016, the group announced the acquisition of Tokuda Hospital and completed a merger with City Clinic in becoming the leading private healthcare operator in Bulgaria. With presence in the 3 largest cities of Bulgaria, Acibadem City Clinic combines 4 hospitals and 5 outpatient medical centres


Acibadem Holding's extensive network in the region includes a hospital with a capacity of 242 nursing beds and 56 intensive care units in Macedonia.

Acibadem International Medical Center opened its doors in Amsterdam, the capital city of the Netherlands on May 1, 2017. The Medical center was converted to a Hospital in 2019.

The Acibadem integrated healthcare chain - in which we hold a 90% share - is synonymous with best-in-class healthcare services. It operates more than 2,500 licensed and operational beds and launched one of the first and largest cord blood banks in Turkey. It also runs laboratory and pathology services, stem cell facilities, a range of emergency assistance and home health services, hospital project management and other related services.

India is our fourth home market. In 2015, the Group announced the acquisition of controlling stake in Continental Hospitals and Global Hospitals. The Group has since rebrand the hospitals under the Gleneagles Brand.

In 2018, the Group completed a preferential allotment of 31.1% stake in Fortis Healthcare making the Group its largest shareholder with board control.

Greater China

In China, we have eight ParkwayHealth Medical Centers under our auspices.

In Hong Kong, we operate the 500-bed multi-specialty Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital which opened in March 2017. In our Greater China portfolio, we also operate the ParkwayHealth Central Hong Kong Medical Center, and the Angsana Molecular and Diagnostics, ancillary service.
